Optimization and Design of Disc-Type Furrow Opener of No-Till Seeder for Green Manure Crops in South Xinjiang Orchards

For the issues of poor stability furrow opener depth, large soil backfill and inconsistent shape on a no-till seeder for planting green manure between rows orchards in South Xinjiang, double-disc, corrugated is designed. This paper analyzes law movement double-disc traditional openers using discrete element method (DEM) concludes that corrugation width number corrugations are primary factors affecting furrowing operation. When sixteen, forward speed six kilometers per hour, when seventeen half millimeters, simulation operation parameters optimal. The soil-bin validation experiment results as follows: Under condition an 80 mm average depth enhanced by 3.54%, working resistance disrupted area increased 26.16 N 220 mm2, respectively, decreased 10.98 mm. effect with discs high low resistance, small depth. study provides theoretical foundation design optimization components orchards.
